Three acres of ancient forest. In the center is the Heart Tree, it's carved face looking down on a still, black pool of water.

"Here we are, Princess," said Lorraine, opening the gate to the Godswood and letting the Princess pass before her inside. A moment later a servant approached, bearing steaming mugs of spiced wine. Lorraine accepted them graciously, then passed one to Aelinor. "It is vast, is it not?"

The Princess takes the mug of steaming wine as she looked at the huge white tree with the blood red leaves. "I have only read of these..." Her eyes scanning the huge mass of a tree until she came to the face and the eyes. Aelinor sipped her wine,"Is it true that people believe these are the symbols of the Old Gods?"
"That the eyes truly see?"
She outstretched her hand to touch the bark of the tree. "Remarkable..."

"It is true," said Lorraine, blowing on the surface of the wine to cool it before taking a tentative sip. "Sometimes when I stand here, I feel as if there is someone standing beside me, though it is only the tree in the end. My stepmother followed the Old Gods so none of it seems so otherworldly to me." She drank deeply as the wine was cool enough.

Aelinor not minding the heat of the wine drank deeply. She could feel the warm vine run through her body all the way down to her toes. "I have to admit I have no problem with other religions. I have great respect for people's views."
She stared into the eyes of the tree,"You are right Lady Lorraine, it does give off that feeling of being watched." She smiled,"But it does not bother me."
Aelinor then looked at Lorraine,"I can not believe that something as far as what people believe in caused this terrible war? I understand warring for wealth and power, but religion I do not."

"I find it comforting, like someone is watching over me..." She smiled. "No, I can't believe that so much destruction was caused for only the sake of one god over another. I pray that the peace talks in the capitol go as intended."

Taking another sip of the heated wine, Aelinor nodded. "I do as well. Hopefully my King Father can find some common ground for peace between the different regions, so that we can function as one nation."
She touched the white bark again,"When it is my turn to rule Westeros with Aelix, I only want peace to remain, but as the Maester always has told me I am a dreamer of such things."
"But I do not see anything wrong with wanting that. Do you Lady Lorraine?"

"Nothing wrong with that at all. With the threat of dragons, though, I am sure the kingdoms will behave themselves." Lorraine gave a small smile. "It would be nice if our children could grow up without knowing what the word war meant."

Aelinor sighed,"I wish that Dragons didn't have to be brought into any war for peace to be found. They are majestic creatures, using them as a paddle to chastise grown men is wrong."
Taking a seat on one of the stones,"These are nations of grown men and Lords, they should be able to work together to a single goal of peace." She looked at Lorraine again, she wanted to talk to her about what her aunt and told her, but she knew it was the wrong place. She sipped the wine again.
"I guess I am a dreamer",she grinned,"I am the daughter of a Dragon King, who has creatures of destruction at his beckoning call and I want peace."

Lorraine smirked. "Grown men with swords who think that might means right..." She shook her head. "It is ironic though, that you, who will be Dragon Queen, prefer peace. I would like to see them one day. I am sure they are very beautiful to watch, especially flying." She sighed, then finished the wine in her mug.

Aelinor chuckled and then finished her mug,"I am a diplomat, Lady Lorraine. Peace is good for all of us here in Westeros.
"We should be more focused on the protection from what is behind the Wall that the Night's Watch protect. When I am Queen, I will suggest to Aelix to have all regions furnish the men to the Night's Watch." She looked at Lorraine,"It is only fair, they risk their lives to protect all of Westeros, why can we not give them men from the lands that they guard."
Shaking her head,"War only takes away from that, men die needlessly in a war because of religion instead of dying protecting their lands from what the The Wall holds back."

She shivered. "Wilhelm...Lord Stark has told me there are terrible things behind the Wall. Giants and things. I thought most people in the south thought they were only stories? I know I thought so, until he told me." She looked at the princess carefully.
"You are very young, and idealistic." Lorraine drew her breath in sharply. "But you are right. We should not divide amongst ourselves when we should instead be united against those beyond the Wall."

Wilhelm enters and walks up to the ladies. "Princess, I do hope your stay here is to your liking," He said looking to Lorraine, "Should you be drinking so much my love?" He asked.

Aelinor smiled at him,"Lord Stark, yes I am, very much. I have enjoyed talking to Lady Lorraine." She then looked at the Godswood tree,"And I have also enjoyed seeing this amazing sight as well."
She then turned to Lorraine,"And you are not supposed to be drinking, my lady? And here we were enjoying this wonderful mulled wine, and you can not drink?" She then smiled at her and Lord Stark, realizing what he meant,"Congratulations to you both again." She bowed her head with a smile,"May your union and your new addition be blessed, most highly."

Lorraine blushed incredibly pink. "I...no, I shouldn't," she admitted, looking surprised when the Princess realized so quickly exactly what he meant. Her hand strayed to her stomach before she realized. "Thank you, Princess. Please keep the news between us, if you will?"
She managed to smile at Wilhelm. "What a bad time for it, too. My brother has sent his apologies that he cannot attend, and in his stead an entire wagon of casks of Arbor Gold."
