It snowed lightly the day before, allowing dawn to shine with a little light as people gathered outside to witness the wedding. The High Druid personally offered to bind these two in wedlock.
Most of the Northern Lords have gathered for this day, even Lord Bolton had arrived to see their overlords wed. Lars Karstark went over to speak with his long distant cousin Wilhelm. Unlike a southern wedding, weddings in the north were more pimitive, people were furs and leathers to keep themselves warm, and they wore weapons at their side.
The Heart Tree in the background seems to look over the group, anyone who would disrupt this day on sacred ground of the old gods are considered heathens in their mind. As the sun slowly rises the events begin to take place.

Lorraine stood next to a group of ladies; various daughters of the Lords of the North and Elyse and Bethany Stark. Her gown of white wool and grey fur fit well, if a bit tight over the breast and stomach. Her red hair was dressed in long curls, held back from her face with a few braids. A Tully banner was draped on her shoulders, doing nothing to keep out the cold. She shivered a little in the chilly air as she waited quietly for the ceremony to begin.
She watched Wilhelm and his cousin speak, biting her lip a bit. Today was the day...she would marry him finally. A more beautiful day she could not have dreamed of, with the snow on the ground and the trees of the godswood frosted with it. The wierwood seemed untouched, only the barest sprinkling of snow dusting its leaves and branches. She smiled at the guests; all the bannermen of her lord, the sullen-looking Greyjoys, the proud Dragons, and the lone Valeman.

Firmin stood on the back of the crowd. Why can't they put at least one damned chair in this thing!?!? His knees were sore and his back ached when he stood for a long time. He couldn't simply leave, People may take it as an insult, he actually really enjoyed these kind of marriages, it wasn't the first he'd attended to, the energy of the northern rituals were much more comfortable then those in the septs, he found.

Wilhelm went over the details with the High Druid and then turned to smile at Lorraine, He noticed her dress and admired her in it from head to toe, she looked frozen but beautiful. He himself was dressed in nice black tanned leather, with a white fur pelt draped around his shoulders. They looked made for the occasion but Stark could still fight in them, perhaps it was a northern thing. He looked up to the rising sun.
He looked back down to notice Lorraine staring at him she was beautiful and she was now carrying his child even though they had all the time in the world to admire one another he still lost himself looking into her eyes.

She beamed at him, looking down at her stomach and back at him. It was their own little secret, the child that was growing inside of her, a little bigger every day. This was truly the happiest day of her life, the way weddings were written of in the tales. To marry a man one loved and had chosen for one's own...nothing could be better, truly.
Soon, now, the ceremony would begin. She already ached for it to start, to finish, and for them to be bound under the sight of the Gods.

The princess stood with Prince Aelix watching the happy couple. She was quite warm under her long woolen cloak, the Sigil of the Red Dragon sitting in the black fabric on her back.
Whispering softly into her brother's ear,"You do know why we are here?" Inside her feelings saddened by the thought of them asking them to travel to Kings Landing to leave their bliss of Winterfell where they apparently belonged.

He nods letting Aelinor take on to his arm. "I do not know...they might agree as long as their together, and from my understanding they seem to want to see us get married as well. Perhaps it will be easier."

Shaking her head, she knew something about Lorraine that no one else did at the moment. "Yes they are happy and they do want to see our wedding, but that is a visit to Kings Landing, not an invitation to stay." Aelinor sighed, continuing to whisper to him,"There is nothing we can offer him that he does not already right here in Winterfell",she whispered to him.

She smiled lightly nodding at his kiss,"That is true.. We will let him make his own decision." Aelinor took his hand, intertwining their fingers and continued to watch the wedding. "It is his right as a Lord."
Her heart was heavy, she knew that her father may not like hearing a refusal from Lord Stark.

Bethany Stark takes Lorraines arm and begins to walk her down to Wilhelm, his daughter smiles at her father and lets go giving Lorraine a hug before making her way back to her place. The High Druid smiles then begins speaking in Old Tounge that only a few men could under stand. Wilhelm offers to translate for his bride.
"As the Stone sets, the Trees grow and the Earth, may these two find love and peace for as long as nature lives on. Do you Wilhelm Stark, of House Stark, take this woman, Lady Lorraine Tully as your wife, to protect and love for the rest of your days?" Wilhelm Translates.

The Druid nods and looks to Lorraine and as he speaks Wilhelm translates.
"And do you, Lady Lorraine Tully, take Lord Wilhelm Stark, to be your Husband, to hold and mend when his wounds seep deep, much like a withered flower being nursed back to health?" He asked her with an old smile.

Lorraine smiled, squeezing his fingers tightly in hers. "I do," she said, "for the rest of my days." Her cheeks were pink with cold and excitement, and her voice was high and clear as she said her vows.

The Druid smiles and continues. "Then if no one sees that these two should not be wed then may Wilhelm replace the banner of the lady, and present her with a new one as your wife. Then you may kiss." He smiles to them both.
