"What the son of a traitor wants is of no consequence to us." Trajan replied, waving him off. Ten goldcloaks and Ser Horas Dayne of the Kingsguard organized in formation to escort the traitors to the waiting ship in the harbor. "Let us hope the Gods struck him down for his crimes, the Father's justice for his oathbreaking and treasonous ways."
He turned to the other gathered lords and signalled that the next could come forward.

Edwyn took one step forward. He was not surprised by the Regent's decision regarding Tyrell, however he needed to know the answer to a question.
"My Lord Regent." he called. "Before we proceed further, who do you intend to become the Lord Paramount of the Reach in Tyrell's place?"

"That has yet to be decided, Lord Edwyn." Trajan answered. "There are many traitorous houses to sift through and much to consider before one will be rewarded in such a manner. We assure you, the decision will not be made lightly."
"Throughout this conflict the loyalty of House Baratheon and the Stormlands has been absolute. We will not forget the services you have rendered. Nonetheless, are you prepared to renew your oath and present your fosterling?"

"Fosterlings, my Lord Trajan. May I present my three daughters, Bethany, Marared and Margaery." He ushered the girls forward. Each of them curtseyed prettily before the Lord Regent.
"When the time comes to select a Lord Paramount of the Reach, given our loyalty to the Crown and the damages rendered upon us by the Reach after twenty-five years of warfare, I would appreciate the opportunity to offer advice on a candidate. The wrong man in the position will do little but foster further turmoil. As far as I am concerned, there are certain prominent Reachmen that are not to be trusted."

He held his head high. "You filthy bastard." He looked to Trajan. "I come here, ready to swear oaths and lay down arms and you betray it! You are a filthy unwashed whore's cunt! Your head will roll one of these days and I will smile, knowing my revenge is fulfilled."

"Most worthy additions to the royal court." the lord regent said graciously, violet eyes lingering appreciatively on Bethany for a moment. "A servant will show you to your rooms, ladies. There will be a feast held later in the week in honor of Lord Commander Markar and the new fosterlings."
He returned his attention to the Lord of Storm's End.
"The advice of our Master of Laws will always be taken into account, Lord Edwyn, you have our assurance of that."
He now waited patiently for Lord Baratheon's renewed oath.

Edwyn knelt.
"I, Edwyn Baratheon Lord of Storms End and Lord Paramount of the Stormlands swear in the name of the Great God R'hllor, to uphold the rule of the Iron Throne over the Seven Kingdoms."

Trajan waved Edwyn off and ushered the next lord forward, when Jonnet's departing words echoed out over the hall. His face contorted with rage for a moment before regaining his composure, violet eyes turning to the bound traitor.
"It is a capitol offense for a commoner to speak such to a lord." he hissed, the goldcloaks forcing Jonnet to his knees. "Ser Horas, bring me his head!"

Ser Horas went forward, Dawn already naked in his hands. He raised the sword high and brought it down swiftly, severing Jonnet's head from his neck. His face was emotionless as the Reachman's blood splashed on the floor of the Great Hall, painting the stones red. He wiped Dawn on his white cloak before sheathing it and returning to his place by the Lord Regent.

"I want that on a spike." he said to the nearest goldcloak. "Let the realm know the folly of treason. Maybe adorn it with a jester's had." he added, unphased by the sight.
He waved the next Lord Paramount forward.

After that display, Tybolt pushed himself away from the pillar and came forward, careful to avoid the blood puddled on the stones. "I am here, Lord Regent," he said, bowing gracefully. He bowed very low indeed, and did not rise, all but prostrating himself before the Throne. "I, Lord Tybolt Lannister of Casterly Rock, Warden and Lord Paramount of the West, do swear my renewed loyalty to the Iron Throne. The House of Lannister and all of the West, at your service, my Lord." His green eyes flicked up to focus on the Blackfyre's then.

A spray of blood hit his face and he looked to Trajan.

Edwyn had seen much death in twenty-five years of war and the deaths of many Reachmen in battle. He therefore was unmoved as the young Tyrell's head rolled on the floor. He was surprised to feel a rising tide of disapproval at the Regent's naked display of power.
The young man had deserved the Wall most assuredly, but his summary execution for a trifling offence in front of the lords and ladies of the realm was in Edwyn's mind an abuse of the Regent's office.

"Yes and we already received your fosterling, Lord Tybolt." Trajan said evenly. "But there is one matter we must discuss. You and Hightower's treasoned, feigned though it was, caused the throne a great deal of trouble. Much worry and gold could have been saved if you had brought Tyrell's intended treason ot the crown's attention at its first whisper."

He moved out of the crowd, wiping the blood off of his face. "My lord?" He indicated to the Blackfyre and then to the corpse."This...mess. It should be cleaned up. The ladies of the room might not....prefer it."
