Lavinia curtsied again and left the great hall, strutting out with her hips shaking back and forth, drawing eyes to her impressive derriere.

"My Lord Podrick begs your sincere pardons, he is still working on some post-marriage arrangements... So he sends his most loyal servant to parlay with the regent." Firmin grinned. " He and his men are under your service..." He cleared his throat. He checked around and saw Queen Velena talking to some dornish girl. Then he looked around noticing each of the niches around the hall. "Your grace, mind if we speak in a private room? Lord Podrick sends word of important business, that he wouldn't deem wise to be discussed in the open, much less in the Great Hall of the Red Keep... For we all know the kinds of spiders that roam these walls. No offense." "The only spiders in this hall are the Crown's." Trajan said confidently. "I assure you the rest have been stamped out. However I will entertain your request. Present yourself at my chambers after court is adjourned." He turned curiously to his wife. "Who was that you were speaking to?"

Post by Prince Edric Martell on Dec 21, 2012 3:17:06 GMT -5
Edric entered the hall with 5 of his guards, his face was dirty, his hair sticky and his cloack was stained with the salt from the seas. The trip had been tyring, but he was finally here. He came by boat this time, with all the armies basically blocking their way out it was the only way, althought he had left as soon as he heard of the armies aproaching. As much as he wanted to drag Arthur Hightower back to the Sun Cells it was better to come to King's Landing. Stupid Edric, you got tricked and let him scape.
He saw Lord Trajan sitting on the Throne.
"Lord Trajan," he said. "Long time no see, I come to tell you as I told King Aelix. Dorne is at your service."
Edric bowed and waited for Trajan to answer.

Trajan revealed a broad smile, having recently receives the good news from the front lines.
"Your words warm my heart Pronce Edric. Let me return the favor by being the first to inform you that Tyrell is dead, slain by his own allies. I've invited them all here to re-swear their paths. I see you are the first to do so, without the urging of a royal decree. That will be remembered."

He's dead..? Slain by...wow...
Edric stood.
"I...Thank you, My Lord. I would have come sooner but from Sunspear to King's Landing it's a long trip."
He stared at the floor in disbelief.
"May I ask what happened??

"I plan to hear the details myself when Lord Hightower and Lannister arrive." Trajan replied. "I only know they had some hand in it."

////////////////
A train all in red and gold showed up at the Red Keep, consisting of many men-at-arms, two fat septas, and a wide-eyed frightened looking little girl of about nine. They all bowed before the throne, and when finally allowed to rise, one of the men held forth a letter bearing the Lannister seal. "Lord Regent, we come bearing apologies from Lord Tybolt Lannister. He regrets that he is still dealing with matters in the south but sent his daughter, the Lady Amelie, to be fostered as a gesture of good faith." The man bowed again, allowing the letter to be taken from him and conveyed to Trajan's hands.

Trajan smiled down from the dias, a benevolent act.
"We are most honored to have you join us, Lady Amelie." he said graciously, adopting the royal we. "Your fellow fosterlings have yet to arrive, but I promise you will enjoy your time here. I certainly enjoyed the time visiting my cousins in the embrace of the Red Keep and only wish I could have spent more of my youth here."
He took the letter, violet eyes scanning its contents before setting it aside.
"We will have a grand feast when your father joins us. Until then, one of the servants will show you to your chambers. We hope they are to your liking."

She curtseyed, looking up at him with a mixture of awe and terror. She was a timid thing, left to herself more often than not, and she had never been outside of Casterly Rock before. She curtseyed, shaking the whole time, and managed a small "Thank you, your Grace" when prompted by her septa's elbow.

After leaving his own tournament to answer this royal decree, Todric made his way to the Great Hall. He hoped to have an audience with the King Regent and with the baby King there himself.

With the news of the arrival of most of the Lord Regents, Trajan had summoned them to the Great Hall. He sat the Iron Throne awaiting an audience with each of the lords. Five Kingsguard stood in a line between the throne and any visitors. The other two stood on either side of the infant King Baelor's crib, which sat to the side of the throne.

Jonnet walked in, flanked by knights loyal only to him. He wore simple riding clothes with the Tyrell rose adorning the front and a longsword at his belt. "Blackfyre" he grinned wolfishly. "We have business together."

Lord Edwyn Baratheon stood at the side with his son Renly and his three daughters Bethany, Marared and Margaery. "Look well my children," he said to them all with a sneer, "......at the procession of traitors and miscreants to come in front of the Regent today. Listen to their excuses and their justifications for their treason. Lies all of it."
