She blushed again at his comment with a small chuckle, "But we are glad to have you back again." Aelinor then smirked,"You do not know her, but I have been watching her for quite a while, now... We are similar in age and her father is one of our bannermen."
Aelinor nodded,"And she is good so far from what I have seen.."

Her eyes met his,"Why is it that you left, why did you not stay?" She held his hand and smiled lightly,"What was more important than us.. your family, I mean?"

Her hand rubs her abdomen again,"I do not want that for my children, I want them to see the kingdom, to see this land and many others. To have adventures."

"Well you are still young. Sothoros will be the next grand adventure if duties allow. You'd be welcome to join me. We could explore the dense jungles of the Basilisk Isles, see the ruins of Yeen and Zamettar, perhaps bring an exotic pet back for one of your future children. I hear the small apes that inhabit the region make amusing companions."
He grinned at the idea, striking an exaggerated heroic pose.

She looked at him again,"I am with child, Trajan.... I can not have the thought that someone would harm me while I am in this state." Aelinor looked worriedly,"I have not told Aelix yet, he is busy now in the Great Hall, I must tell him later when time permits."

Aelinor noticed his expression,"What is wrong, cousin?" She could feel his displeasure at her secret announcement. "I trust this is between us until I tell Aelix?"
She looked at him with the face of innocence that she had when they were younger,"Please Trajan?"

"It is nothing." he said with a reassuring smile. "It is important to have such glad tidings after such a dark time. Your father would smile knowing his legacy will carry on."
He hugged Aelinor tenderly.
"Your secret is safe with me, but tell your husband soon. I still remember his temper after thrashing him in the yard in our youth."
