The manse of the Baratheons when they stay in Kings Landing. It is well fortified with a large high wall and a heavy gate.

Edric sits on a chair near the table and gives Edwyn a scared look. "Do you think those shadows were...I mean...it looked like...could it be...?" He couldn't bring himself to say it... "Could I get some wine?? Dornish if possible..."

Edwyn rose and crossed to a table where various bottles of wine were standing. He selected one with a fine Dornish wine and poured Edric - and then himself - a cup. He crossed back to Edric and pressed a cup into his hand.
The older man seated himself.
"Let us not concern ourselves about what the shadows might or might not be. The King is dead. Sooner or later, possibly sooner talk will turn to their cause. Red God magic. Suspicion will fall on his followers. That mean us."
He sipped his wine.
"It will not matter, nor will it occur to many, that we have little to gain from the King's death. However scapegoats must be found."

He looked at the wine...thinking... "What should we do then? If we stay it will be too dangerous. But the new King will want to continue with the peace talk so..."
He took a sip from his cup. It was Dornish wine, yes, but not as good as the one's in Dorne.

Edwyn thought for a moment.
"I don't think we have a choice. If we attempt to leave right now, then for many that will confirm their suspicions that we have had some role in the death of the King. We may be stopped and detained at the Gates.
He twirled the wine cup in his fingers.
"I have a sent a raven to my heir in Storms End, informing him of events here in Kings Landing and instructing him what to do in the event we are detained. I would suggest you do the same Edric."

"Yes, will do." he took another sip. "I guess I should be going then, don't want to have to go back at night in King's Landing...and even less after that glorious wedding..."

Edwyn gave a short bark of laughter. "Indeed. There have been few weddings like it."
Sobering he said, "I intend going to the Red Keep to offer my condolences to the new king. We need to demonstrate our fealty in some way."

Edric took a sip of wine. "Hmm...That's better. Okay, we'll go there and then I'll be off to my manse. Should we get going then??"

Edwyn nodded approvingly. "There has been time for the hubbub to die down. People should be thinking more calmly now. If we go there together we show solidarity to our enemies and to the Targaryens."
