Alyn walked into his office, sitting behind a desk. "Please, sit. Have some wine." He motioned to his servant. "Now. You say that you have an offer to make to me. Of what kind?" He took a polite sip of Arbor Gold.

Glen grinned "Not me my Lord" he spoke "My captain." Bowing to the Master of the Ships, he left the room to be replaced by Leman Harlaw, the pirate still slung over his shoulder. Dropping him on the ground Leman grabbed the cup and drank noisily. "There's your pirate Redbeard "he said gesturing to the bound man "dread of the blackwater, and a very annoying burr in your side."

Alyn's eyebrows rose. "Interesting." He waved his hand, and the two guards at the door grabbed and firmly bound the prisoner. "I'll have him publicly executed on the morrow. For now.... break his fingers and take him to The Black Cells . That should ensure he doesn't successfully escape." He tapped his desk. The guards held up the unconscious man and methodically snapped his fingers, then dragged him out of the room.

"A public execution would be good, except for one thing. That mans knows where the pirates gather. He knows where their haven is. Through him, we know where they hide. And they don't know we know." Leman tapped his nose "Now that might be used methinks. And further, it seems that you need some man to find that haven, and burn it around their damned hides." Leman leaned forward with a bloody smile "Give me Redbeard, let me find this haven, and I will do what we Ironmen do best. Reave."

Alyn frowned. "Very well. If you do so, however, you will receive no reward for his body. This pirate stronghold may prove difficult to take, even if you are able to squeeze the information out of this one AND if he knows where it is. Are you sure you want to do this? There is high reward, but there is high risk as well."

"I can't do it with my ship alone. I would need to more ships. At least two others with fighters. It would be good that the kings men would do the kings justice. As long as they follow my command, half of what we find will go back to treasury. Would that be agreeable?"

The man tapped his fingers. "No. This is too dangerous of an enterprise to risk my ships. We are on the brink of war as it is. Pirates are naught but a sideshow for the moment. If you wish to recruit men to go with you, you will need to find them yourself. There are several sellsail companies that I can recommend, if you have the coin, but I'm afraid I cannot aid you for the time being."

"Kings peace that cheap eh? Thanks for the wine then." Leman left the room, to take his prisoner and to find any information he could.
