At the western wall of King's Landing is a great gate that leads towards the Westerlands and Casterly Rock. Outside of it stands a statue of Tywin Lannister, who served as Hand of the King during the reign of Aerys Targaryen II and for King Joffrey and Tommen Baratheon.

With all haste, Jory rides out the Lion's Gate on his horse and makes for the Westerlands, hoping to reach Casterly Rock before anyone from the Vale takes notice. His sword waving at his waist and harp in a saddle bag and a bed roll strapped to the horse.
