My idea was that something happened and Wilhelm's died (maybe he went to KL after all and some shit killed him?), and then Lorraine freaked out and persuaded the North to secede, so we have Baby King Stark, and Lorraine is Regent. Your Manderly would be very welcome to come and be a strong hand politically (if not The Hand).

Mmmm seems a bit unfair having Tybolt control two LP equivalents. Prefer Manderly going in as LP (Somehow even if he just takes control of Wilhelm) And it also seems that with the LP dying like that, seceding would be the last thing that would come to mind unless the Targ's were directly responsible.

Yeah the idea crossed my mind. Perhaps Manderly would be a better Regent? After all, he is of the North, they might not appreciate some upstart newlywed southern lady taking control. By MIGHT I mean DEFINITELY would not.

Secession was in the works before. At least...in the minds of certain folk haha.

The whole scenario I described for Lorraine makes her rather Lysa-esque.

Maybe it was for Wilhelm, but was it in the minds of most of the banner men? That's the big thing you need if you secede. (Personally feel that the Rose King should have some consequences for his abject dismissal of the most accepted law of the land a la Red Wedding.)

Well the plan with Aelinor was to name Trajan Lord Regent after Aelix was assassinated, then king after a proper mourning period. Likely would have wed Aelinor's and Velena's children (if they were different genders) as my heirs to seal the divide between them. If Aelinor died, the most likely cause would have been childbirth, though whether the baby survived or not is up to you folks. The question is, would Trajan have changed his last name? Probably, right?

Actually it was mostly in my mind, but I was already taking steps to persuade Starky...
