Trajan entered his chambers fresh from his tavern meeting with the other lords. He took a seat and poured two goblets of wine, waiting for the barkeep that had been following him since his departure. The man was quiet but the shadows were Trajan's domain.

"You move too quietly for a barkeep." Trajan notes, offering one of the goblets.

Trajan removed a scrap of paper with the target's name and slipped it to the assassin, his violet eyes watching the assassin's for a reaction.

He read it carefully, then smiled. "A contract's a contract." he tossed it in the fire. "I'll come for my payment. But there's one more thing."
