But.... why wait a year? He has no shortage of all-powerful weapons that make any war essentially nonexistent. Also, why hasn't there been ANY war of any kind in the past year, since Tyrell rebelled? I personally don't think this time jump was necessary, but since we're doing it, we should clear things up BEFORE we throw our armies at each other.

Well I'm assuming things have been rather chaotic politically during the period with Aelix being assassinated then Aelinor dying. Trajan probably was just recently able to gain a firm hold of the city through marriage to Velena and look outward to handling the rebels.

A year, though? And if that's true, than why haven't WE utilized the advantage of our BIGGEST ENEMY being held up politically, for a YEAR?

Do you know how long it takes to raise and outfit a medieval army? At least that long. It's not like you have a standing army just waiting around. It's called up and organized from the populace.

We've just come out of a war, the armies, I assumed, were practically on standby. If not, at any rate, the speed at which people can raise troops is 3000 a day.

And then the months it takes to move them all into position?

Again, a factor, but not something that would take long enough to have everything take a year, especially when we just went out of potential peace talks that have failed. We need legitimate reasons for something this long.

A year to organize a rebellion of this magnitude seems pretty accurate. That was how you took advantage of the chaos in Kings Landing.

Lemme get this straight, so we're in the middle of war, we hold it on some peace talks for a moment, and then, after several years of extended warfare for just about everyone, including everyone having standing armies, currently, it takes us a year for Lannister and Arryn to join us and bring their forces over to a random field in The Reach? Dorne and The Stormlands weren't tied up politically, and their forces were poised on the brink of attacking.

Speaking, why do the dragons even exist in this game? As long as anyone can control them, they essentially make warfare impossible, which means the only way to do anything of import would be to have you assassinated.

I'm just trying to justify this time jump. I can make sense of it from a Kings Landing perspective so it's your job to make sense of it from the Usurper position. I know it's a stretch, but otherwise we're dead in the water here.

As for the dragons, I've been saying you guys rebelling was suicide since the beginning. Ignoring that, with ever LP and their mother rebelling it's the only card we have. Still, not like slaying a dragon is impossible. I like the idea of an assassination attempt on my life

Well in this regard I can say that the second dragon died with Aelix the only dragon left is Markars. Eggs may be a possible RP plot <.< >.> but if so they were hidden.

Facepalm, how the hell did the dragon die with Aelix? I'm fine with it. Finding eggs would be fun, but I don't see how that could have happened? And who hid the eggs?
