He reclined in his chair, taking sips of tea. "What is it Gerold?"

((This is just outside the tent)) //////////// He sat outside his king's tent, honing his blade for his duel. He worked the blade gently, as if it were a woman he was loving. Hopefully Leo will be back soon. He wore his plate mail suit with the Hightower adorned in front. The same went with his kite shield nearby.

Randon approached the king's tent and saw Ser Hightower. "A good sword, if you were familiar with the great sword I might have let you use Heartsbane." He gave a small smile. "Is his grace within?" he pointed towards the tent.

He wiped the sweat off his brow. "Not yet. I was sent forward by my brother to get ready for my duel. They should be returning soon though, I wasn't that far ahead of them."

"Is that so? I had wanted to talk about our defenses. We can't be sure our foe would keep their honor after the duel and not retreat."
Randon stood around in silence for a few minutes before saying, "Is there not anyone else with his grace? Just the two of them, the King and the Hand?"

He grunted as he ran the whet stone down his blade. "Markar is an honorable knight, it will be a shame to kill him. As for His Grace, he went there with several other knights and lords. I am sure he is fine, mayhaps stopped for a snack."

"Other lords and knights but none of them Kingsguard. You should be with him. Mayhaps I will go and look for him." He did not like that the King was alone, even if he was with the Hand.

He stood and sheathed his blade. "If you looking for him then so am I." he hefted his shield and slung it over his back. "My horse is in the stables. Walk with me." he set off.

He walked with Ser Hightower to the stables making a stop by his own tent where he approached Aran Oakheart. "Aran gather a dozen or so men and meet me at the stables, and ask around if any of them know of the whereabouts of his grace the King."

Arthur nudged Randon. "Best where your armor, we'll be skirting near the enemies camp a little bit; it couldn't hurt."

"Good idea." He entered into his tent calling out to a squire to aid him in helping him into his breast plate. After the breastplate was on he fastened his gauntlets he said to his squire, "Go and fetch me Heartsbane." The squire went to his great sword and Randon slung it over his shoulder.
He exited the tent and, turning to the waiting Ser Hightower, said "Let's be off then."

They entered the stables and Art immediately recognized his horse. It was pitch black and descended from Sandor Clegane's Stranger. It would kick and bite anyone but him. He rubbed its nose. "Where's your horse?"

"The chestnut courser over there." He said pointing. He motioned for the stable boy to saddle up his horse.

"Aym, saddle Kairos." He said out of instinct. He's dead you fool.[i/] He shook his head and saddled Kairos himself and mounted him.

As Randon was mounting up Aran entered with a dozen and a half men. "Lord Tarly," Aran spoke, "Here are the men you asked for. And Steffon here says he saw the King, the Hand, and the Hands bodyguard walking riding into a field not too far from here."
Randon turned to Arthur, "I say we start there." Then he spoke to his men, "Mount up. And you, Steffon, lead us to this field. Now be quick about it!"
