Auric cooed and closed his eyes, settling into Naomi. "I trust that your words speak truth, if not I will kill anyone who will harm my children."
Breia shook her head, knowing that them coming there was mistake from the beginning. They should have went back to the cove and waited for father. In the cove, where they were safe and hidden. She knew that they were sitting on a powder keg, no matter this King said to calm her sister's fear.

Vickon nodded. "I should hope so." He glanced at them both and the babes that they held. "Are you hungry? I can get the cook to prepare you a meal. I'm sure it has been a long journey for you."

Naomi nodded,"Yes, a meal would be fine." She looked to Breia,"Come on, we shall make ourselves comfortable here for a while." Breia still frowning,"Where will we put the boys? They are hungry and need to feed."

"There is plenty of room in the Bloody Keep. It had been empty as of late." He returned to his seat before the table. "The old hag, Harra, same bitch that nursed me as a child. She'll look after them. Later, we can all have supper together and discuss your travels."

"Alright", Naomi agreed, as Harra came to take the twins. Breia watched the woman cautiously, not wanting to let the baby go.
"You can be all happy go lucky with this,"She whispered under her breath,"but if any harm befalls them, I will make her skull my soup bowl.."
Naomi chuckled,"Be at ease, sister. They are where they should be, for now."

"Do not fear Breia. If the old hag does anything to hurt them I well have her hung, drawn and quartered. You can be assured of that. Now please, go and refresh yourselves, Harra will show you to your quarters. We shall supper in the Great Keep in an hours time." He waved his hand signalling for them to leave and returned to his map.

Briea looked at him, a small frown still on her face as they followed the old woman to their quarters. "I don't care what he says", she still whispered,"He gives about as much of a damn about you as he did when he laid you down on the beach. All he did was satisfy his lust, even after you told him about that Dragon Bitch. Even after you told him the truth about him being in love with her."
Naomi looked at her sister,"I knew that you had seen us." Her fears were confirmed,"Why didn't you tell father?" Breia looked at her sadly, then she smiled,"Because you are my sister and for that brief moment you seemed happy. I could not ruin that for you."
Naomi nodded as the continued down the halls following Harra.

He nodded to his guards as he entered the tower with Naomi, closing the door behind them. The fire was burning at his request making the room warm. He made his way to the head chair at his table and seated himself down, "What is it that you wished to discuss?"

She took her seat, he seemed a million miles away, but she guessed that is how he wanted to feel towards everyone, even his children. "I think we should leave soon." Naomi placed her hands on the table clutched together,"if my father finds out that these are your children, things will go badly, and you do not need that right now."
"It has been made obvious that you care nothing for me, and I can see that you care nothing for them as well. I can not have them grow as you did with your father." She sighed,"I will tell him that are the product of a night I had in the free cities with a no named man, while I was drinking heavily."
She looked at him sadly,"I only brought them here to see you, to see their father. And when it is feasible, we are leaving. You will have the treasure from my ship delivered to you." Naomi stood up,"We will be gone on two days time. If I may, I would like to leave a letter for my father in your care as to our whereabouts so that he can meet us."

He breathed heavily and leaned back, running his fingers through his hair. "Yes. Yes of course, but... they are my sons. I can't allow you to bring them here and then take them away from me forever." He shook his head. "No, no. You are right. Pyke is not safe for them. Difficult times are coming and this is no place for children still suckling upon their mother's breasts." His gaze drifted down from her eyes to her chest, remembering that time on the beach. "One day though. When this is all over. Will you return?"

She sighed deeply, all of her thoughts confirmed. "Yes Vickon, they are your sons.... But that is also a lie that I have to keep from my father for the rest of their lives..." Naomi stared at him,"To protect someone, who does not truly see them at all."
"But that is my burden.... Obviously." She walked to the door. " They will return when you wish it, but only when your eyes do not see dragons when you look upon them.... I saw your face."
"We leave in two days. Breia will give you the letter for my father."

Vickon sat in silence. There was nothing more to say.

(( LOL, asshole ))
Naomi slammed the door behind her as she entered the room she shared with Breia, who was playing with her dagger. "Well, I take it that your little talk didn't go well.."
Naomi stared at her sister,"I would tell you to shut up, but that would only let you know that you were right...." She then laid across the bed,"We leave in two days."
Breia frowned,"Why two days, why not now? He saw them, those boys might as well been a damn three legged horse they way he looked at them." The dagger danced among her fingers,"We should leave in the morning at first light. Give him those damned chests and be on our way to the cove."
Naomi nodded agreeing,"You will give him the letter for father, I do not wish to see him again." She tossed it to Breia,"At first light we leave then. Gather the twins and leave."
"Now we are in agreeance then.. To Hell with the Pyke", she chuckled with the letter in her hands. "I'm thinking that we should see our uncle but I do not want to put the twins in danger."
"No we will go back to the cove and talk to father when he arrives." They both settled down, both with one of the boys sleeping lazily beside them.

A good hour he waited, thinking on all that she had said. In a way he was glad, his sons had been a problem, a weakness that his enemies could exploit. This way he was stronger and that is what mattered. Naomi had the instincts of a woman, and these instincts came with a certain blindness. Their sons were the centre of her world, but he was able to see the bigger issues at hand. The dragons, the Ironborn and his place in this world. The Drowned God had chosen him for some purpose and he would be damned if he let his infant sons prevent him from fulfilling it.
He called to his guards, and instructed them to fetch Lord Codd. As he waited he returned to his desk and retrieved the letter that had been sent by the King's Regent, Lord Trajan Blackfyre. He toyed with it in his hands, thinking how best to proceed. The old man eventually arrived, albeit slower than Vickon would have liked. He would have to get a new castellan. "You summoned me your Grace?"
"Yes. Prepare the ravens. I have letters to send."

Rising that morning, Breia noticed her sister was gone with both twins. The letter that Breia was given sits neatly on the table. She nodded with a smile,"Time to leave this godforsaken place."
She dressed, grabbed the letter and headed to find Vickon. "Hopefully his graceful is sitting brooding at his long table to make this quicker for me."
//////// The twins were aboard the Grey Lady, snuggled and sleeping, as Naomi instructed four of her men to take two of the large chests into the Sea Tower to be delivered to The Iron King. The ship was made ready as she waited for Breia in the slow light of the dawn.
