Gerold rode his horse to the side, on the open field, his bodyguard beside him. He dismounted and looked around, squinting for people watching them.
"You know, Tyrell. These days, I'm coming to think that you and The Shield are the only ones I can really trust. Arthur is my brother, yes, but I feel there's still something in him.... that's close to breaking again. I'll never forgive myself for putting him through this, but he's the best swordsman we have and I had to play what cards we had."
