Gerold looked at the dead body with a faint sense of distaste and remorse. "Shield. Get this in the saddlebags." He tossed the head to his bodyguard.
"Lannister is coming, and those we don't want will come too. We need to get this body off the dirt." As his bodyguard picked up the rest of the man and began to drag it, He turned and looked at the incoming Lord.
"Lord Tybolt. We don't have much time. We need to get everything sorted out in the next hour and a half. Your presence is welcome, though." He walked out to look at the lord.

Lannister strolled up as though he had not a care in the world. "Acted without me, I see." He observed the dead Tyrell's corpse, smirking a little as Hightower's bodyguard stuffed his head unceremoniously into a sack. "What will we do now? I have twenty men, mounted and at the ready. What will we do first?" His smile just got larger as adrenaline began to pulse through his veins.

Gerold mounted his horse quickly. "Many things, and not a lot of time. It is good that you brought 20 men with you."
"Firstly, we need to either hide or disfigure the rest of Tyrell, to pass off the killing as an assassination by one of the Targaryens."
"Secondly, we need to get into negotiations with Markar And Baratheon, and I need your help in this one, because they both hold much love for their honor, and while their masters may have no qualms, they probably do."

Tybolt raised an eyebrow. "Disfigure him, when you have his head in your saddlebags? However will that work?" He touched the body tentatively with his foot, wary of getting blood on his shiny armor. He kicked it then, savagely. "Fucking roses," he muttered. Looking up at Hightower on horseback, he smiled. It was a sinister grin, full of malice and pleasure at seeing the pretender King's corpse sprawled lifelessly on the grass. He wiped the tip of his toe to clean the blood off of it. "Shall I arrange to speak with our friends, then? Ser Markar and Lord Edwyn?"

"Arrange makes it sound like it will take time. We need to do it soon. Very soon. Like I said, in less than an hour and a half, The Reach will go insane."
Gerold looked strangely at Lannister. He seemed to take certain vicious pleasure in the defeat of his enemy.
"I don't know how we'll disfigure him. Perhaps we can say that the assassin decapitated him. I can give myself cuts to make the story more believable, if it's necessary. It shouldn't be hard to hide the truth from most eyes. Even Tyrell himself didn't see it coming."

(sorry I didn't post sooner, I needed the time off haha)
Tybolt frowned. "Why not just tell the truth? We have rid them of their little southern problem. Here is what I will do: send a raven to Trajan Blackfyre and let him know what has been done. I am sure he will reward us for our loyalty." His frown quickly became his trademark smirk. "You can disfigure the body or do what must be done. I will send the raven and then alert our erstwhile allies to our show of loyalty. Hand back the reach and the west into Targaryen hands."

"An assassin sent by Blackfyre killed our king, and almost killed me when I got in his way. Let's take the head to Targaryen And Baratheon. Do what needs to be done. I Hope that silver tongue of yours can convince those honor-bound Lords to listen to you. Because they both seem to hate me." Gerold stood up. "Time to go."

/////////////////////////////////////////// Arthur sank to his knees next to the body of his King and let out a great roar. It echoed throughout the field and resonated in his bones. He put his head on the chest of his king and sobbed. "I failed him! I was his Kingsguard and I failed him!"

After Tarly and his men had left with the corpse, Arthur saddled up again. I'm going to find this bastard and fucking rip him in half. He spurred Kairos and was soon galloping throughout the field.
