5) Character Biography: Born the first son of Lord Gendry Connington and Sidney Swann. Raised a ward at Storm’s End alongside Lord Edwyn’s own children, but bullied by Eldon. He was knighted at the age of sixteen by Lord Edwyn in 382AL alongside his best friend Renly Baratheon. Sent off to war in 384AL, he became known as Gerik the Red for in an ambush of his camp the men rallied to the sight of his distinctive red beard in the darkness and led them to victory. He became the personal guard of Lord Edwyn’s daughters in 390AL, defending them with ferocity unequaled. He is smitten with Bethany Baratheon. He recently accompanied Lord Baratheon to King’s Landing. Said to be blessed by R'hllor for his red hair.
