The Chambers of Gerold Hightower are large and open, but contain very little. There is a bed, a bookshelf, and a desk cluttered with papers. A fireplace lies to the side, as does a small table for dinner.

As Gerold arrives, Lavinia walks past his door, spotting the man move into his chambers. She wore a tiny white dress strewn with diamonds, a small tiara and some gold earrings that went with the matching shoes and make up.
"I have not been long here at the keep, but I cannot say I have seen you yet, milord..?" Lavinia asked with a small curtsy, showing cleavage.

Gerold's eye looked at her revealing garments with slight distaste. "No, I cannot say I have seen you either. May I inquire into this lady's name?"

"Princess Lavinia Martell," She said, an amused look on her face. "I am sister to Prince Edric? And you? Would I hazard a guess I would name you a reachman." She laughed.

Gerold smiled slightly. "You're quite the observant one. I am Gerold Hightower, though some know me as The Coldeye." He pointed to his face. "What business brings you to the capital?"

"Perthaps we are distantly related!" Laughing, Lavinia pointed to her own, bright blue eyes, offset by her dark tanned skin. "As for myself, I have just returned from Lys where I... well, did not quite venture on my own behalf. I am here to catch up, you could say."

Gerold chuckled at her jape, then looked at her. "Lys. That sounds like quite an interesting story. Perhaps you could enlighten me with it." He opened his door, inviting The Dornish girl in.

Lavinia smiled and entered the room, finding the most comfortable chair and lounging in it, bared legs crossed. "I was in King's Landing three years ago, during the big tourney, when I was kidnapped by Ironborn. Not pretty," She chuckled. "I managed to escape however before I was made a saltwife and ended up in Lys."

"And what did you do in Lys?" Gerold inquired, walking over to the fireplace. He picked up some wood and wedged it in, occasionally looking at Lavinia as he did so.

"Oh, this and that; absorbing the culture, learning the language, making a name for myself," She smirked at the latter. "Perhaps not the kind of name the Westerosi would take too fondly too."

Gerold smiled at her, making a mental note in his head. "No doubt." He finished making the fire, watching the flames slowly consuming the wood. "Tell me, Princess Lavinia. You've been here longer than me. What do you think of the Lord Regent?"

"From the little I have seen I would say he is a man who prepares well," Lavinia said, looking out of a nearby window for a moment. "You wouldn't have anything to drink would you? I have such a thirst!"

Gerold shook his head. "Unless you enjoy boiled water, I have nothing to drink. And I think you're right. He certainly has deftly handled this situation with Tyrell's Assassination. Killing his worst enemy, breaking apart his armies, and than forcing the hand of every major lord in the seven kingdoms right after."

"Awfully quick in succession, all of these events, no?" Lavinia asked with a chuckle. "How about unboiled water?" She took a brief look around the room, crossing her legs again. "And where do you stand?"
