"I was spending time with my lady wife." he winks. "I trust Tyles Ford has packed my things. Of course he has, he's Tyles. Please sit." He beckons at the seat adjacent.

The Coldeye sat down, shifting impatiently. "We can talk on the road. Unless you have something private to say."

"Nothing important. Bree, will you get a fire going please. I want some tea." he leaned back in his chair. "How many men should I bring to King's Landing?"

Gerold frowned. "Perhaps... 400? We need some clear force in the capital, but we shouldn't show up with an army. I already have fifty of my best coming. 450 total should be enough."

She coughs, "My lord, I do not think that is a good idea, I think my lords should leave before I stand..."

"Oh yes, silly me. We'll wait outside while you get dressed. Come, Gerold." He strode to his wife and gave her a long kiss. "See you in the hall." They walked through the door.
"Do you miss your younger brother?"

///////////////////////////////// They entered. Several more chair were set around the table and a small fire was going. A jug of Arbor Gold sat on the table with the appropriate amount of wine glasses. "Please, my lords, sit. Can I get you anything else before we discuss our relations?"

(Was I inivited? If not, disregard.) Damon entered, leaving his two guards to stand in the Great Hall. He looked around the table, and then chose a seat to the right of the head of the table. He glanced around the room and then looked to Leobald, "I'd like to get right down to our discussions, I have to muster my troops for this war after all," he said with a grin on his face.

(Yes you were invited. Along with Hightower, Lannister, and Tully.)
He took a seat at the head of the table. He sat in this chair when the news came to him of his brothers and father. "My lords, please sit. After this I hope we can all sup together."

Tybolt took the chair across from Arryn, observing him carefully. He smiled, quickly, and looked toward Tyrell, waiting.

Todric poured himself some wine as soon as he entered and then sat down in the first seat he came to. He waited for Tyrell to say something that would make him go against the only Royal house he knew.

Gerold walked into the room, sitting down at a chair. "Let us begin, my lords."

He adjusted his seat. "Todric, what do you think of the Red War? How many men did you lose? Any family? The war lasted twenty-four years, my lord. What did the Targaryens do? Nothing."

"Twenty-four years," echoed Tybolt. "And I have lived but twenty-six. My father was at war, and by the time I was old enough, so was I. He taught me what he knew...until the time of his unfortunate demise." Tybolt managed to look sad, contrite even. "And from then on, I was at war. It would be interesting to see what peace is like, would it not? How we could benefit from sending caravans of goods instead of armies?"

Gerold looked into Lannister's face. He didn't believe for a second that the man would feel the slightest bit of sadness, or compassion, unless it profited him. He felt similar about Tybolt's motives for peace. He would shatter our alliance and kill thousands just to gain a facade of power for an instant. Nevertheless, the man was a necessary ally, so Gerold would play the part of friend. He spoke.
"If every penny we have spent on war in the past fifty years was spent on trade instead, by now we would all be riding dragons made of gold, that breathed silver. Peace is far more prosperous than war."
