~Daentyn Toyne~ Region: Crownlands (Harrenhal) Age: 18 (b. 371 AL) Byname: The Black Heart, Heart of MysterySkills: -Expert: Spearfighting -Expert: Firecalling -Noteworthy: Bowman -Noteworthy: Healing -Apprentice: Battle -Apprentice: Intimidation -Novice: High Valyrian -Novice: Agriculture -Beginner: Horsemanship -Beginner: Animal Handling Biography: Daentyn Toyne, named so for the lilac hue of his eyes, a trait long lost in his delineated line, is the only son of Lord Simon Toyne and his wife, Lady Charlotte. Their other children, two daughters named Jayne and Alayne, rest at Harrenhal til the day they are fit to be wed. As a boy, Daentyn acclimated to all things natural, be it care for plants or the keeping of animals. He and his mother saw to the creation of a garden in Harrenhal's Godswood, full of many-colored flora and fragrant flowers uncommon to the area; they dubbed it the Dawn of Spring. It was in the garden that Daentyn first came into the realization of his faith. A night spent hunting with his father led Daentyn to start a small fire, and as he watched, the flames danced where he willed them. Frightened of the implications of such a gift, he began to practice it only when alone, veiled even from the eyes of beasts. Upon learning of the Red Priests and R'hllor, understanding of his condition dawned, and Daentyn accepted that he would would one day become a warrior for the God of Flame and Shadow. However, naught could keep him from his practice of combat or studies of nature; he quickly adopted the spear as his weapon of choice, and wields it with great skill. Equally talented as a healer, Daentyn's sessions with and without the Maester of Harrenhal taught him the recipes and uses of salves, potions, and poisons aplenty. All in his world was well until the disappearance of his eldest sister, Leanor. Frequently escaping the castle to ride through the abounding farmland surrounding the long-restored Harrenhal, her last adventure ended in mystery, with her disappearance and his parents in despair. Endless search parties turned up no results; afterward, Simon kept an iron vice on his remaining daughters, allowing them only the freedom of the castle, and occasionally, the Godswood. Daentyn suffered the loss well on the surface. However, he was internally broken, and to the present Leanor is ever in the back of his mind, frozen in time, influential in many of his daily actions. Appearance: With hair black as night and eyes alive with violet to compliment his pale tone, Daentyn has been deemed handsome by many on countless occasions. After the disappearance of his sister, however, he took on a darker visage; rarely does he truly smile, an act that has since been replaced by a prevalent blank stare, as if he were looking through any and everyone. His face is slender, and his smooth hair is kept long, parted toward one side of his face, not quite covering his right eye. Predominantly garbed in silk of black, Daentyn rarely dons his golden family cloak, emblazoned with a winged black heart, edged with a black bordure embattled. Reputation: Because many of his hours are spent alone, either in his own quarters, the Godswood, or any of the bleak and black places still abandoned after Harrenhal's lengthy restoration, Daentyn has gained a reputation of secrecy; his mother bestowed upon him the title Heart of Mystery, although he is more widely known as The Dark Heart for his downtrodden presence and often intimidating manor. *Note: His hair is darker than depicted at the top of this post; as written, it is an exceedingly dark black.

Character Name: Leman Harlaw
Character Age: 29
Character Region: Born in Iron Islands, Based in Kings Landing
Expert: Unarmed combat, Blacksmithing Noteworthy: Naval Combat, Intimidation Apprentice: Trade Knowledge, Armor Novice: Axe, Athletics Beginner: Low Valyrian, High Valyrian
Character Biography: Descended from Harris the knight of Grey Garden, second son to Lord Harlaw of Harlaw, Leman was born and raised ironborn. He loved to fight and wrestle as a child, and became interested in metal work and steel soon after. Eschewing the typical fighting style of his people, Leman developed a rather unorthodox style revolving around a 4 clawed gauntlet he used to great effect. After he turned 18, he earned the right to captain his own ship, the Grey Horse, and sailed far away, to the free cities across the narrow sea. He loved, fought, was betrayed and learned much in trade and the language of the Free Cities. Leman returns older and wiser, but still hungers for glory. He is a father to his men and a scourge to his enemies. Now he mostly hunts pirates around Blackwater bay. He has not seen the Iron Islands in more than ten years.
Character Appearance Brown haired with brown eyes he stands at 6 feet even, and has a body toughened by the forge and tested in battle. His arms are huge, his face scarred. His cheeks are covered in a braided beard, and his voice is deep like the sea. He laughs often, and loudly.
Character Reputation Known as a sellsword in Kings Landing, but a slightly more honorable one than usual. In the Iron Islands they think he is dead, and in the free cities some know him. Pirates fear the four bladed scythe.
